Terms of Service
  1. Acceptence of Terms: This is a non-profit site whose service is subject to the following terms, which may be updated at any time. A notification will go out in case of changes.
  2. Description of Service: Fictionally is a free archive where you can read and/or submit a story for fanfiction purposes.
  3. Your Registration Obligations: To use the Posting Services, you agree to: (a) abide by the rules for submission; (b) uphold the local laws as applicable to your actions when viewing and posting of content to the site; (c) check for updates and update notices of the rules and the TOS on the main page and within pages on the site.

    In compliance with United States Federal Trade Commissions Children's Online Privacy & Protection Act, we do not accept or solicit material from children under the age of thirteen. We ask that if you are under the age of 13, you do not register for our service.
  4. Account, Password, and Security: You are responsible for keeping your password safe, and are fully responsible for all of your account activities. You must (i) immediately notify the admin if your account has been abused, and (ii) logout from your account once finishing your session if other use your computer.
  5. User Conduct: You understand that all information, text, images, etc. are the sole responsibility of its originator. This means that you, not Fictionally, are entirely responsible for everything that you make available. We do not control the content posted, and will not guarantee its quality. Furthermore, you understand that by using the service, you may be exposed to content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Fictionally will never admit liability in any way for any content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use service.

    You agree not to use the service to: (a) upload, post or otherwise make available make available any Content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, or otherwise objectionable; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) upload, post or otherwise make available material that is unsolicited advertisements, promotional material, spam, etc; (d) stalk or otherwise harass other users.

    You acknowledge that Fictionally has the right in its sole discretion to refuse or move any content that is available. The admin has the right to remove any content that violates the TOS.

    You agree that Fictionally may disclose content if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce the TOS; (c) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third-parties; (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the site, it's staff, it's members and public viewers.

    Re: Reviewing. Please be courteous when leaving reviews. Know that there is a difference between constructive criticism and being rude. All rude/inappropriate comments will be removed. If a visitor/commenter becomes out of control, then they may be subject to banned access from this site.
  6. Privacy: We do not collect any personal information other than that which is provided by you voluntarily. You should of course be careful when giving out private information. When you do provide personal information, all reasonable steps will be taken to ensure its privacy.
  7. Modifications to Service: Fictionally reserves the right to modify or end--temporarily or permanently--service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We are not liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
  8. Termination: You agree that we may terminate your account and remove and discard any content, for any reason, if there is a belief that you have violated the TOS. Fictionally may immediately deactivate or delete your Author Account, suspend posting privileges and bar any further access.
  9. Copyrights: We respect rights to ownership, and we ask our users to do the same. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you can contact the admin.
  10. Any and all ads place on this site are strictly for the purposes of paying bills. "Google" ads are usually geared to what is written on the page. In support of this site, I ask that you click on them, and/or use the donate button on the side of the page. Of course, this is not a requirement, but it would greatly be appreciated.
  11. Violations: Please report any violations of the TOS through the contact form.
